Tailgate Alaska 10

March 17, 2017, 2:00pm - March 26, 2017, 2:00pm

Heading into its tenth year, Tailgate Alaska makes the dream of riding in Alaska safe, practical and affordable for every rider and skier. If you have been inspired by movies like the That's It That's All, The 4th Phase, Book of John J., Tight Loose, The Dream Factory (or any other Teton Gravity Research epic), you can ride the same mountains - and conditions - that these movies have made legend. This isn't just for pros - it is for anyone who is called to ride powder! Unlike other outfitters, Tailgate Alaska creates a menu of terrain access options for every pricepoint, free snow safety and backcountry access education, daily entertainment, discounts on accomodations and terrain access, a 10 Barrel Brewing Company, and experts from around the world who want to challenge themselves with the ultimate terrain and conditions. You are invited to Tailgate Alaska 10 which returns to Thompson Pass in Valdez, Alaska March 17 - 26, 2017 Learn more at: tailgatealaska.com

Finished Chugach Flyer Snowboards new model "The Alutiiq" Limited 163cm Wide, named to honor one of Alaska's Original People who live along our South Central Coastal and Aleutian Islands regions of Alaska.

This board is camber profile wide true twin for pop and power butters with conventional radius edge for smooth flow into the turns. The long flat nose and tail provide huge lift in pow without pushing against but by flowing upward over the snow. This one is a custom with a custom insert pattern built for our backcountry rider. We can set your board up with your custom stance on special order.

Chugach Flyer has been very busy over recent months and we have made some big steps forward. We have completed our press and tested and calibrated our printing process for our dye sublimation printing capability. We are now building boards with full graphics and we are now set up to do YOUR custom board of your dreams.

Contact us to find out how you can ride the board of your dreams with your own art or our custom graphics designed just for you. We can do your company logo, special presentation boards, whatever will meet your graphic needs.

We also have the capability of doing custom profiles and shapes. We can set your custom board up for you with custom insert placement to match your stance. Keep in mind some custom work may involve engineering or graphic work to make it happen. But for custom graphics, the added cost is very reasonable.

Tell us about your dream snowboard.
